Let it burn out completely. Don't leave a half-burned log. Washing dishes: Do not dump leftovers in streams or potholes. They should go into a hole six to eight inches deep. Wash your dishes well away from water sources. Don't use soap to sterilize your dishes. Metal utensils can be held over the flame of a stove for several seconds. Carry rubbing alcohol and swab your dishes out with it. A tiny, two-ounce container of alcohol will last a week or more. Bathing: Save your swimming for the creeks and rivers.

It is crossstratified and is up to 500 feet thick, although it is more normal to see it in the 150-foot range. Though it usually presents itself as a homogeneous formation, it sometimes shows distinct parallel bedding. It was formed in two ways: by windblown silt and sand settling into quiet waters, and in other locations by the same forces that formed Wingate and Navajo sandstones.
