By showing their solidarity to Cuba, the principal aim of the campaign is to show that there is an alternative to the neo-liberal system. The political project of the campaign is directed towards defending Cuba’s right to national sovereignty, independence, and self-determination, without outside interference. After 50 years of blockade, the Cuba Solidarity Campaign calls for the end of the blockade and for the normalization of diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations with the island.
