Ian Jamieson's critique in Chapter 13, in general, and the recent paper by Rob Fiddy & Ian Stronach (1987), in particular, point to delinquencies and aberrations in the TVEI change process. My own view is that insufficient attention has been paid to the problematic nature of implementation or the necessity for strategic dissemination, and little effort has been given to developing more sophisticated strategies for change. g. , 1986; Fullan, 1985). Although TVEI has given a major impetus to a re-consideration of teaching-learning style, problems of implementation and dissemination have meant that its impact on student achievement has, to date, been limited.

TVEI and the Curriculum Firstly one must identify what is meant by TVEI in relation to the whole curriculum before one can really begin to consider the implications for the management of resources.
