Market research services are inadequate; capable accounting services may be unavailable; consulting engineers and architects are few. These services are often crucial for firms operating in the difficult economic environment of Africa. 35 A substantial array of subsidiary sources of information and advice available, and often free, to businessmen in developed economies may be unavailable in Africa.
